Welcome to The Family Chiropractic Clinic.  We are an established chiropractic clinic, located in the heart of Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, where we treat a wide range of pain related ailments and have a special interest in treating children, particularly those who have previously been diagnosed with Delayed Developmental Syndrome.

We mainly use ‘low force’ chiropractic techniques to treat the above, which is the preferred choice of our patients.  Many of our patients are happy to recommend this clinic to their friends and family and often provide testemonials to the benefits of their chiropractic treatment.  We also pride ourselves on providing a friendly and personal service to our patients.

The resident chiropractor at The Family Chiropractic Clinic is Dr James Doherty, who is committed to providing high quality primary health care to the people of all ages in Cheshire and surrounding districts.  After graduating as a chiropractor from The Oxford College of Chiropractic in 1999, James established this clinic in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport.  Since then, James has completed numerous chiropractic courses to further his ‘professional development’.  This has enabled him to take advantage of a variety of chiropractic techniques to suit the demands and needs of his patients.

More recently, James has undergone extensive studies with The Carrick Institute, obtaining clinical neurology skills, in the assessment and treatment of neurologically based conditions.  James works in association with the Tinsley House Clinic  which is considereed to be a good alternative to the Dore Centre.  He is also registered with the General Chiropractic Council  and is a member of the United Chiropractic Association
